Burrito Juice - 21/04/2021
woke up at 8:30 am
had breakfast with soma fm
then did three DoorDash deliveries by motorbike,
delivered an iced mocha coffee from downtown to East 7th street...
coffee is by far the worst thing to deliver,
especially going up and down hills, over bumps,
that said, everyone knows spilled drinks are hilarious in certain contexts.
came home 11am cycled to get lunch near city hall
a lady was getting rid of books and crap in front of her house,
picked up lunch at Chipotle on Broadway, where an assembly line
of young women shovel burrito toppings asking but not really listening
and there should be a plaque on the wall that reads 'Fastest Burrito in the West'
ate my lunch in the city hall gardens
where many people were doing the same.
a city worker's jacket was hanging on a pitchfork
and someone's dog started barking at it
couldn't finish the burrito so I stashed in in my bag
sometimes I think portion size is just a sneaky business tactic
walked up some steps and took a photo of George Vancouver's tight pants.
he is casually pointing north, as if to say, the sale on skinny jeans is thataway.
got some new bike gloves at Sports Junkies.
on my way home, saw a girl I might know lounging alone in the park. didn't say hello.
did more DoorDash deliveries and circled back to Sports Junkies by chance on my delivery route,
almost gave a thumbs up to the cashier who sold me the gloves because he was sitting outside the store,
but I wasn't exactly across from the store, my angle was obtuse.
Had an annoying wait at A&W on Granville where only two staff were working.
A street person ordered $40 worth of food then complained wanting 5 more chicken strips.
All while turning around to check no-one was touching the shit they left on the table.
Finished work at 7:30 pm
at home, had the remaining 1/3 of the burrito for dinner
burrito juice got in my bag and in my mask though so next time I guess I'll just scarf it all down...
feeling bloated isn't as bad as smelling burrito juice in my mask all day
